VLADO BEGONJA
Vlado has a very distinctive style and always uses vibrant colours to great advantage His works are exhibited and sold through many galleries in Sydney and the south coast and north coast areas of New South Wales.

JOHN BIASETTO
River, Bay and Landscape scenes are what John Biasetto is best known for and more recently for his colourful floral impressions. His work has appeared in many exhibitions, particularly in a number of two and three person exhibitions.

DAVID BOYD
His work has been included in numerous international exhibitions and is represented in all major art galleries, museums and university collections in Australia and many collections throughout the world.

DAVID BRAYSHAW
David's search for new and unusual painting subjects has led him through the Great Barrier Reef, Australian Alps, rainforests and windswept Australian coastline as well as a series of interiors featuring views of Sydney Harbour. David's work is very much in demand.

MARGARET DIMOFF
Margaret's style is unique and she draws inspiration from many sources. She is inspired by colour from her garden, texture and line and shapes and balance in nature. Margaret paints in oils, acrylic and mixed media and her art varies from florals, to stick figures and also abstract paintings.

JOHN DOWNTON
John is a very well-known artist living on the southcoast. He has been painting for many years and his subjects are mainly landscapes, seascapes and still life. He is a member of the Society of Marine Artists. John has had many successful exhibitions over the years.

BARBARA FARNHAM
Barbara has received many commendeds for both watercolour, drawing and pastels. She is highly sought for her lovely watercolours of the Shoalhaven area.

WERNER FILIPICH
Werner is a dedicated traditionalist artist painting mainly in oils and specialising in rural and coastal scenes. His love for this country is imbued in his superb style of crisp and refreshing paintings. His distinct style is always popular with art collectors and many overseas visitors.

ROBYN GOSBELL
Robyn has worked hard to develop her talents in all mediums. In recent years she has been mostly acclaimed for her work in pastels, through techniques that have been largely self taught, and her work in acrylics where she has produced many bright yet subtle paintings of many subjects from small intimate interiors to large panoramic landscapes.

PRO HART (DECEASED)
Pro was best known for his highly individualistic, vivid, semi-primitive bush paintings. He was continually experimenting with new painting techniques and has been acclaimed widely for his palette knife work in oils and acrylics. With subjects as varied as beach scenes, wildflowers and tiny insects, Pro's palette knife paintings are bold, vibrant and reminiscent of French Impressionism. Pro was Australia's most loved and colourful character and his paintings are in numerous collections worldwide.

JOHN HATTON (DECEASED)
John was proficient in many mediums - oil, pastel, watercolour and mixed media, and ranging from still life, landscapes to seascapes and he was able to create them in traditional, abstract and contemporary styles. His work has been sought after by international designers, as well as the events industry leaders and also many corporate sponsors.

MARYANNE HOLMES
Maryanne has been painting watercolours since 1995. Her work is very popular painting mainly French, Italian and English scenes but also Sydney Harbour as well as landscapes and seascapes. The effect she gets with her "rainy day" paintings is absolutely fabulous and her work has been very much in demand.

PATRICIA HOWELL
Patricia's personal philosophy is based on a desire to live in harmony with nature, hence her choice of subject matter - flowers with translucent petal or light soaked glimpses of nature. Her work is impressionistic and innovative. The mediums used are mainly watercolour with occasional use of acrylic, gold leaf and gouache. Works are on paper, ivorine or canvas.

SCOTT IRELAND
Scott is noted for his use of colours using both the palette knife and brush capturing New South Wales and Australia's most popular and prominent views and destinations. His love of the Australian bush, beaches and waterways is reflected in his work being basically landscape and seascape paintings. Using an "impressionistic" style enables his work to appeal to both traditional and contemporary collectors.

FAY JOSEPH
Fay has been painting since 1966 and her work is represented in several galleries throughout New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania. She has won numerous awards for her works over the years and is very highly regarded. Her rural and harbour scenes are very much sought after.

MARCIA KIRBY
Marcia developed painting in oils, specialising in Australian landscapes, seascapes and impressionism. Her paintings have a lovely whimsical theme about them. Many paintings are now in private collections overseas.

GARY LAIRD
Gary is a painter of traditional and contemporary works in oils, acrylics, watercolours and mixed media. He has been involved in many successful exhibitions at various galleries in the Sydney region, Central Coast, Canberra and galleries on the NSW South Coast. His works are much sought after both locally and abroad.

GEORGE LARGENT
There is a majestic tranquillity, a timeless serenity about Australia's inland waterways and the countryside that surrounds them. This is an alternative view to the usual expectations of Australian landscape painting. In George's paintings these contrasts, sometimes bold, sometimes subtle, can best be expressed in the exciting and spontaneous medium of watercolour.

LEONARD LONG OAM
Whilst Leonard was very young his family moved to Mittagong on the southern highlands of N.S.W. It was there that he grew up and developed his love of the Australian bush and fauna. For over 70 years Leonard has painted the Australian landscape and is still going strong. He has had many successful one-man exhibitions in all capital cities and regional centres throughout Australia.

SANDRA MAW
Most of Sandra's work is done in watercolour, although she also enjoys using mixed media or oil. Many of her paintings are completed in the studio after working "on location" doing composition layouts and watercolour sketches.

MARGOT MERDITH
In recent years, a passion developed for life drawing, and for watercolour painting. Margot is a regular member of the Brandling Street Painters life - drawing group.

CHERIE MILES
Cherie started her working life in commercial art and photography. After studying art at St George Technical College she started in business with her husband David. Cherie has had a variety of achievements over the years with many commissions both in Australia and overseas.

DAVID MILES
Together with his wife Cherie, David has had a long and very successful career with many commissions being hung in hotels, embassies, hospitals and private homes. He has had major exhibitions in David Jones-Sydney, Flair Studio-Canberra, Japan, Singapore and Jakarta.

YVETTE MURPHY
Yvette is considered one of the top landscape artists on the South Coast. Her style is mature and refined but with a real warmth and sensitivity that only experience can bring. Her passion for art and enthusiasm for learning continues to push her in new directions, experimenting with abstract and contemporary styles, although her traditional oil landscapes continue to rise in popularity on local, national and international fronts.

LYNN NAISMITH
Having grown up in the pristine bushland setting of the Woronora River, those early years instilled in her a deep and lasting bond with the bush and its wildlife, but it was the birds in particular that captured Lynn's imagination and encouraged her to develop her natural drawing skills. Lynn incorporates gouache in some of her works but loves working in watercolours.

ANITA NEWMAN
Anita is very well known for her romantic impressionist ladies and children in fields painted in pastel colours. However she has, in more recent times, turned her attention to painting more modern landscapes and seascapes, some of which are on stretched canvas. This has given Anita a whole new lease on life and her new work has had great appeal to a younger generation.

VELIA NEWMAN
Velia gains her inspiration from beaches, surf, natural bushland, boating activities, wildlife in plague proportions, lorikeets and butterflies in her backyard. Her vivid bright colours of various subjects are reflected in her paintings. Colour, texture and imagination are her objectives, with nature as her guide the palette is endless. Acrylic paints are the main pigments which can be applied in many ways, brush, palette knife etc.

RHONA PARKER
Rhona has become very well known for her nudes which she does very well in pen and ink. Her talents don't stop there however as she paints lovely landscapes and seascapes also.

WENDI REIS
Wendi is a landscape artist working mainly in acrylics. She likes to get out and about and sometimes takes her easel with her, but mostly paints from her studio. Wendi has been a guest artist on various occasions and also held solo exhibitions.

DOREEN SHAW
Design and composition are an important element of Doreen's work. She enjoys working in gouache, transparent watercolour, mixed media and mono-printing and at times all together. Gouache is her preferred medium. The unpredictability of transparent watercolour she finds fascinating and when experimenting and exploring with mixed media she discovers that the boundaries are limitless.

GEORGE SOBIERAJSKI
George moved to the South Coast with his wife and children in 1981, where he enjoys painting the many varied aspects of this beautiful area. His love of the Australian countryside is evident in his wonderful landscapes and seascapes.

SUZANNE SOMMER
Suzanne works in both oils and pastels and has a romantic impressionistic style and has a love for both landscape and figure painting. She catches the light and colours of life perfectly. Collectors from all states and overseas have acquired her paintings.

PETER STATHERS
After many years living in the Sutherland Shire, Peter and his wife moved down to the south coast and so began a new chapter with Peter painting the most beautiful water colours imaginable. Peter paints in other mediums also but his watercolours are his forte.

KEN TABER
Ken is a self-taught artist who paints impressionistic landscapes and seascapes. Since 1979 he has developed his unique misty and romantic scenes, usually depicting lonely beaches or motionless swamps. He readily acknowledges the influence of William Turner, Claude Monet and the early Australian impressionists.

AIRYNAA TANNBERG
Airynaa uses vibrant colours that depict life in a creative, fun and happy manner. The paintings have a tendency to involve the viewer creating fond memories or stir the imagination. In her Village and Cityscapes the viewer is taken on a journey up stairways, through alley ways, or a peek into a window or possibly to sit down and enjoy a cappuccino and a chat.

YVONNE TERKILDSEN
Living in the N.T for three years gave her the chance to experience the "centre". The space, curved horizon and the play of colours held a never ending fascination for her. Although the techniques are totally different, the small pastel drawings often help her clarify what she wants to achieve in her large oil paintings.

John's special preoccupation in Australia's past is reflected in his nostalgic interpretation of rural scenes and country homesteads. John paints seascapes, landscapes, polo games, street scenes and beach scenes. His work is varied and interesting, often immortalising the pioneer spirit of Australia with street scenes and country homesteads, which win him wide acclaim.

SUZANNE WARWICK
Suzanne paints still life, portrait and landscapes in both oils and pastels. She is very well known for her floral works. She is a sought after tutor and instructs in both oils and pastels.
